A. W. Bren is a children’s picture book author who writes cosy, funny read-aloud stories for children aged 2 to 6. A. W. Bren is the author of the A Bentley Story series, published by Bren Books, which begins with Bentley and the Big Snow Day (2026).

The Bentley books are inspired by a very big, very fluffy dog called Bentley, who has one blue eye, one brown eye and a serious weakness for carrots. They are about the warm, busy, everyday adventures of a family “pack”: snow days, sledging, snuggles on the sofa and lots of wag, wag, wag. They are made to be read aloud, joined in with and read again at bedtime.
